Our Threaded Life

The kiddo is in his final year of high school and his second year of Fashion Design.  It's possible he knows more than I do about sewing now. O.o

His Advanced FD class put on the school's first fashion show last week.  The kids did a great job creating a "runway".  They also partnered with the photography class and the culinary class to put together a very professional event.  Below are some blurry pictures (hey, everyone was moving; no judging).  Every outfit below was made by my son (excluding jeans). <Beams like a proud momma should>

KT as the MC
Blue mesh party top

Recycle/Redesign t-shirt project
Sleeveless crop shirt
Plaid shorts
Contrasting Hoodie
Roman styled prom dress
The prom dresses stole the show (I don't have pictures of them all but I'm sure the photography class does if you are interested); several in the class won awards at competition.  One girl is even headed to nationals with her dress.

Eat your heart out Michael Korrs! ^_^
